SIXMILE CREEK

Come raft world class Six Mile creek with us!  Sixmile creek is one of the greatest whitewater runs in North America.  The run consists of three canyon sections with numerous rapids in each section.  At lower water levels the first two canyons have Class III and IV rapids and the third canyon has Class V rapids.  At higher water levels we consider all three canyons Class V.  This is a serious whitewater adventure.  This trip is not to be taken lightly.  Guests are expected to be in good physical condition, if you have any questions of your physical ability to engage in this adventure please consult your physician.  Guests will be expected to perform a practice swim prior to entering the canyon sections of Sixmile creek.

UPPER SIX MILE CREEK FLOAT

Watch the natural world unfold itself before you as you glide along the upper sections of Sixmile creek.  In the upper sections of sixmile creek we see bear, moose, beaver, bald eagles and many other interesting creatures.  Your local guides will share their love of Alaska with you.  This is generally a class I-II section.  This trip is an appropriate trip for families of different ages and fitness abilities.

TURNAGAIN ARM FLOAT

Exit Sixmile Creek and float into vast Turnagain arm.  Float on this unique waterway for a few hours and watch for seals, eagles and bears.  If you are extremely lucky a Beluga whale might swim by!  Turnagain arm has the highest tidal range in the United States and the fourth highest in the world, come float this unique body of water with us.  This trip is tidal dependent and as such start times vary daily, call us for timing.  This class trip is an appropriate trip for families of different ages and fitness abilities.
